Originally from Argentina, Maximiliano Sola began his culinary career at the Argentine Institute of Gastronomy, after working for a few years in his native country, he decided to improve his skills in Europe by joining Martín Berasategui’s team as an intern in January 2004, where he was hired. In 2005 he was sent to Zafferano restaurant in London (1*) where he worked for 1 year, developing his skills in Italian haute cuisine.
In 2006 he opened in Tenerife (Canary Islands) the restaurant M.B by Martín Berasategui (2* at the Abama Ritz Carlton hotel, where he obtained his first Michelin star. In 2011 he was appointed by Martín Berasategui to lead his project in America, the restaurant Paradisus Playa del Carmen until its closing in 2019. The following year he joined ZAMNA TULUM and ART BEACH TULUM as Culinary Director with a new concept.
